To prevent further violence, the tribal council (Jirga) delivers its harshest customary verdict. Umaya is sentenced to Vanni, a forced compensatory marriage to Zaryam Shah.
Umaya enters the Shah Haveli expecting a life of humiliation. After learning that Umaya met her brother in secret and changed locations to protect him from capture, Zaryam believes she has betrayed his trust. Meanwhile, in the city, brilliant English professor Yasham Ahmer discovers that Huram Kazmi is connected to the family tragedy that destroyed his childhood. Determined to seek revenge, he abducts her and confines her inside his private eighteenth-floor apartment.
However, revenge slowly gives way to compassion. Despite his cold intentions, Yasham cooks for Huram, cares for her, protects her, and gradually reveals the pain he has carried throughout his life. As Huram comes to understand his emotional scars and discovers that he is actually her legitimate cousin, she falls deeply in love with him and willingly chooses to remain by his side.
Back at the Kazmi Haveli, Khaddash Kazmi struggles to win the heart of his unwilling fiancée, Deesham. During her illness, Khaddash finally confesses his love, only to be cruelly rejected. Believing Huram to be dead, Deesham falsely accuses Khaddash of murdering his own sister. Deeply wounded by the accusation, he demands a divorce and completely withdraws from her emotionally, leaving Deesham to fight for their relationship.
The separate storylines finally converge when Yasham returns to the village with a perfectly healthy Huram, proving that she has been alive all along. Her unexpected return shocks the Kazmi family and completely clears Khaddash of the false accusation that he had murdered his own sister.
Yasham then reveals his true identity as the son of the late Ahmer Kazmi, exposing decades of hidden truths. The revelation causes the elderly Kazmi patriarch to suffer a near-fatal heart attack. Despite his desire for revenge, Yasham ultimately chooses compassion and secretly nurses his grandfather back to health, marking the beginning of reconciliation between the fractured families.
As both families begin rebuilding their relationships, the mysterious shadow figure known as "Sardar" launches a final assassination attempt against Deesham. Anticipating the attack, Zaryam and Khaddash execute a carefully planned counter-trap. During the confrontation, Khaddash unmasks the assassin and reveals that he is their uncle, Parvez Shah.
